It was an emotion-packed night on ?Dancing With the Stars? Monday. That was partly due to the show?s ?most memorable year? theme, which brought out heartfelt stories from the celebs, and partly due to how all of the good, bad and awful footwork made the audience feel.
Just in case you missed any of the show?s must-see moments, here?s this week?s catch-up:
Get your hankies ready for the dance that turned on the waterworks for the audience, judge Carrie Ann Inaba and even the leading man himself. It?s the rumba that war hero J.R. Martinez dedicated to the men and women who didn?t come back from battle.
Let?s face it, Carson Kressley isn?t a dancer. He?s not even a particularly gifted wannabe dancer. But he is an entertainer, and he?s fully invested in his pledge to put it all on the dance floor. He did just that Monday night with a tango, and the crowd loved it.
Then we went from Martinez?s heartbreaking performance and Kressley?s flawed but fun routine to ? whatever Hope Solo was going for with her cha-cha-cha.
Note: Cover your kids? eyes around one-minute the mark unless you want them to see Solo shake her barely covered business around. If they?re particularly sensitive to bad dance, just send them out of the room now.
