Professional by Experience: Survivor Perspectives on Preventing Violence against Women
The first annual Rise Conference is taking place in Brighton on Thursday November 17th 2011.
About the conference
The conference will explore the relationships between domestic violence and other forms of violence against women, giving you the opportunity to hear how to provide effective services and how to prevent violence, from those who know what works.
Led by survivors and activists who have become ?professional by experience?, this event will provide delegates with practical examples of how to involve survivors in your work: from prevention and early intervention, to supporting survivors in order to aid recovery.
