Codan Delivers More than $17 M in Radio Communications Systems


DSEi, London (Booth N4-571) - September 13, 2011 --[ASDWire]-- Codan Limited (ASX:CDA), a communications and metal detection company, is completing delivery of combined total of more than $17 million of radio communications systems under contracts for a number of Central Asian countries in support of United States Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives. The contracts, which are cumulative over a six month period, include orders for high frequency radios and interoperability systems to support counter narcotics and border security missions in Afghanistan and Central Asia. Deliveries will be complete in mid-October.

Under the contracts, Codan is supplying the CODAN(tm) MRX-I Interoperability Gateway, the Codan 2110 manpack radio, and NGT(tm) High Power HF radios in manpack, vehicular and base station configurations.
