ENHANCEMENT REQUEST: Tags to Group People

Made this request today to:

Request Tags for Grouping People. FTM currently provides a filter (used in the Family Tab, export screen, and various report screens) to provide ways to isolate groups of people in our files. But, currently the filter is rather limited to using descendants / ancestors of, dates, and text within fact fields as the limiters on choosing individuals.

One example of how this is limiting. I have 66,000 people in my file. There are many in this file that have participated in all the wars of the United States, and some survived and died. If I want to group a set of people, say for a report, that are all descendants of one ancestor, that were in the Civil War, on the side of the Union, and died in that war, I have to create a Custom Fact (I call "Miitary Filter" that says: Smith Civil War Union Casualty (could say Jones Civil War Confederate). I can then use people that have this fact to create reports. But it would be simpler to create a tag for such groupings of people. The ability to add a tag should be part of the "Person" interface - and be included in the standard FTM filter.
