Young Living as a Home-Based Business

I have tried many many many different avenues of earning income. ?I?ve had the 9-5 office job working as a call center phone jockey, telemarketer, mobile phone sales, directory assistance, office admin, medical records? you name it.

I?ve also done a lot of work outside of the office. Flower tents. Fireworks tents. Pet sitter/dog walker. Heck, I once took a bucket, a squeegee, and a receipt book door to door in strip malls washing windows.

I?ve been a childcare worker, a nanny, and all manner of various hobo-jobs in between.

And direct sales. ?I have done A LOT of direct sales, working for several companies through the years to ?try and make it big.? ?Everyone from Avon, Arbonne, Pampered Chef, PartyLite, Tastefully Simple, Xango, and on and on, have gotten my dollars and I?ve attempted to earn some back.

My Personal Problems with Direct Sales

?

For some reason, I always found it difficult to get any traction. ?I had never been a great self starter, coupled with the fact that after years and years in call centers, I have this really bizarre phone paralysis that makes it nigh on impossible for me to make phone calls. Even to to people I like. Just to chat. ?So making X number of calls daily to ?book parties? just wasn?t happening. Ever.

Don?t get me wrong, I like to use products from direct sales companies. ?I?ve been a firm believer in network marketing for YEARS, even if it wasn?t working so much for me. ?There are many reputable companies who built their success around the direct sales model, and really, it literally is one of the best ways for the average citizen to earn a decent to incredible income. (Granted there are less than credible companies out there as well, but we won?t focus on them. And frankly, I don?t think ANY company that I have worked for has been a bad one, or shady in the least.)

The Best Policy...

Every company I have worked with I believe has been on the level, and offering the best product they know how, and supporting their people the best way they know how. ?Some of the products I no longer wish to purchase because of my own paradigm shift and understanding of what is healthy and what is toxic, and what I want in my home and on my body, but that is MY change, and I do not vilify companies who just ? don?t know better.

As?Maya Angelou?said, when you?know better, you?do better, and now?I know better so I do better.

How YL Changed My Life: Through Extensive Reading

?

Which brings me to Young Living. ?I was introduced to this company through a facebook friend almost 2 years ago. ?At the time I was just getting into herbalism and essential oils, and so had oils from several different companies, and wasn?t really thinking of selling it at all. ?It just seemed? too hard.

But I start using the oils, and, unlike the other companies? oils I was using, started seeing a real difference in my health and life. ?And then I read the book, Healing Oils of the Bible by Dr David Stewart (whose article on Essential Oils and Quantum Physics is being examined as a five part series right now here on my blog!) That book changed my life and revolutionized my thinking.

It sold me so completely on the God-given healing properties of essential oils, and the importance of using only the highest quality, while also convincing me that YLEO?s are the best quality oils on the market for therapeutic purposes.

I have felt called to a path of health and wellness for a long time, but as I used the oils, learned more, and started to have that vision and passion coalesce into a real focus, I realized that God made me to be a teacher and a healer. Those are the gifts He has given me (among others) but those two in particular truly define my drive and purpose. ?For the first time, a business centered around the oils actually made sense.

But how?

How to build a BOOMING business the PASSIVE way

?

I have worked for SO. MANY. direct sales companies, and by far, YL has been the easiest for me to succeed at (though in the very beginning, I didn?t see that as being possible!)

The difference between YL and all the other direct sales companies is that the only requirement is to make a 100 PV purchase?(roughly $100, plus tax and shipping)?each month in order to get paid. You aren?t pressured to host parties or go door to door or make 20 phone calls a day or harass all your friends and family (but if you want to do those things, more power to you.)

ALL YL asks you to do is use their product. Once you start using it, you start seeing changes. You start learning more. You start telling friends and family how to address stuff that comes up.

Aundance Common Sense

And then, without even trying, people start buying the product. People start signing up. You are still making that 100 PV min purchase each month, because now you need that product and see the VALUE for yourself and your family, plus you want the freebies that come each month, and before you know it, that monthly order is being paid for. Then more than paid for. Then you?re earning cruises. And walking across stages for recognition.

All because you started investing a little over $100 a month into your family?s health. And that?s if you were not intentional about business building. Put some focus on that bad boy, and WATCH OUT!

One of the hardest things for folks to wrap their head around is spending a little over $100 a month on essential oils, but that is easily figured out by just switching out common household goods and first aid stuff that you currently buy with the equivalent YL product. And seriously, if just two people sign up in a month, you?ve already paid for that month?s order!

I am at a point now, where I have enough people under me, or signing up new each month that it completely covers my monthly order, and I am quickly about to surpass that to being able to replace a part time and then full time income. And all of that almost ENTIRELY through facebook, this blog and without making a single cold call.

Seriously, if I can do it, anyone can.

See for yourself how simple it is to get started by enrolling with a Start Living with Everyday Oils kit: 11 bottles of 9 different oils (two peppermints and two lavenders, frankincense, lemon, Valor, Thieves, Purification, Peace & Calming, and PanAway), two to-go packs of the NEW NingXia Red, a $40 coupon towards the purchase of a diffuser, plus DVD?s brochures and all the info you need to get your home business started.

There?s been no better time to start, as now through Feb 28th, new enrollees receive a $40 credit towards their next purchase!
