As Lakewood head football coach Cory Moore heads into his sixth year with the Spartans, he's using his summer is a time to gain knowledge for his program.
For the next week coach Moore will visit Florida State and the University of Southern California.
?It has always been a dream of mine to coach in the NFL,? said Coach Moore. ?I take all opportunities to get there and it feels almost touchable.?
This will be his second time Moore has made the rounds with FSU and USC? and it's the eighth college program he's worked with overall.
Along with gathering experience at the collegiate level, coach Moore has also worked with two NFL teams.
Last summer coach Moore worked with the Jacksonville Jaguars and in 2010 the Tampa Bay Buccaneers under former head coach Raheem Morris.
He continues to keep the doorway open to the NFL and has furthered his reach, most recently with the Cleveland Browns and the San Diego
Chargers.
The Spartans start their 2013 season in the fall kick-off classic against Miramar on August 23rd and at Countryside.
